Dive into the Hunt with Sea of Thieves Season 15

The Sea of Thieves is about to get even wilder with the launch of Season 15. This latest free update brings a major expansion to The Hunter’s Call Trading Company and introduces two powerful new Megalodons, promising thrilling adventures for all pirates.

Season 15 focuses on exploring the untamed aspects of pirate life, led by The Hunter’s Call. This Trading Company, known for its emphasis on fishing and hunting, now offers even more opportunities for pirates. The reputation cap has been raised to 100, with five new levels of Distinction, allowing players to progress further and unlock themed cosmetics.

For the first time, players can raise a Hunter’s Call Emissary Flag, earning increased rewards for treasure handed in, but also becoming targets for Reapers. New Fishing and Raid Voyages offer chances to find exotic Treasured Fish and other valuable loot.

The seas are also becoming more dangerous with the arrival of two Ancient Megalodons from the Sea of the Damned. The Feared Redmaw, with its explosive attacks, and the armour-plated Barnacled Dread, which spawns Ocean Crawlers, present formidable challenges. Hunter’s Call Emissaries with a Grade 5 Emissary Flag can track these beasts using their Map Table.

Season 15 also brings 100 new levels of Renown, with rewards including new themed cosmetics, gold, Doubloons, and Ancient Coins. The Pirate Emporium introduces the Rococo set, featuring a ship set, weapons, costume, and makeup, as well as the Culinary Cadet Emote Bundle for cooking enthusiasts.

Not all features will be available at launch. Monthly updates in March and April will add new hunting-themed content, including a throwable hunting spear and a variety of ambient wildlife. Pirates can look forward to new Hunting Voyages, targeting savage Grand Boars and rampaging Megalodons.
