Ten years. Countless heroes. One global legacy. As Honor of Kings celebrates its 10th anniversary through the aptly titled Decade of Promise, the world’s most popular mobile MOBA is doing far more than marking a milestone — it’s honoring a decade of creativity, culture, and competition that has united millions of players worldwide.
A Decade of Promise: Honoring Ten Years of Legends
Since its launch, Honor of Kings has grown from a regional phenomenon into a global cultural force, now boasting over 260 million monthly active users across its titles.
The Decade of Promise celebration captures this incredible journey — blending history, artistry, and mythology into one unified tribute to the game’s enduring community.
One of the standout moments of the anniversary is a breathtaking collaboration with China’s Sanxingdui civilization, bringing ancient artistry into the modern digital age. Under the creative direction of renowned filmmaker Zhang Yimou, this partnership produced four limited-edition hero skins inspired by the legendary artifacts of Sanxingdui — merging cultural heritage with stunning in-game design.
The celebration doesn’t stop there. A new hero, Garuda Khageswara, takes flight, drawing inspiration from Indonesian mythology and further expanding the game’s cross-cultural storytelling. Accompanying these releases is the global anthem “Atlas of Tomorrow” performed by brand ambassador JJ Lin, capturing the emotion and unity that define the Honor of Kings community.
Together, these milestones embody the Decade of Promise’s message: to unite cultures, inspire creativity, and connect players through the power of play.
Esports Milestones: New Champions and Rising Stars
As part of the anniversary festivities, the competitive scene in Southeast Asia lit up with unforgettable battles during the 2025 Honor of Kings Nation Clash.
Six elite national teams — including Malaysia’s Homebois x Black Shrew Esport and Alpha Gaming, the Philippines’ Blacklist International and WeTrnd Esports, and Indonesia’s Bigetron by Vitality and Alter Ego Esports — clashed in a high-octane showdown that showcased the best of SEA talent.
In a dramatic grand finale, Team Malaysia swept Team Philippines 4–0 to seize victory, the US$40,000 prize pool, and an exclusive national-themed Flowborn outfit. Tournament FMVP GuiYu emerged as the defining player of the event, etching his name into regional esports history.
Meanwhile, the Honor of Queens Women’s Tournament Malaysia 2025 proved that the future of esports is inclusive and bright. Featuring 24 teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Hong Kong, the competition spotlighted incredible female talent. APG Angels (APGA) took home the championship after a nail-biting 2–1 win over NL Gaming, inspiring a new generation of female competitors.
The Grand Stage Awaits: KIC 2025 in Manila
The spirit of the Decade of Promise now moves to the world stage with the 2025 Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC 2025) — the biggest event of the season.
From November 14–30, Manila, Philippines will play host to the world’s best, with matches taking place at the Shooting Gallery (November 14–23, Group and Knockout Stages) and the Activity Center at Ayala Malls Manila Bay (November 28–30, Knockouts and Grand Finals).
Featuring a US$1 million prize pool, KIC 2025 will unite SEA champions, Brazil’s CHOKBR, Major East and West League victors, and global qualifiers in a battle for glory. The tournament’s FMVP will receive an exclusive FMVP skin, while a brand-new Jing KIC Esports skin will debut to commemorate the occasion — symbolizing honor, artistry, and global unity.
A New Era Ahead: Honor of Kings 2026 Esports Roadmap
The Decade of Promise sets the stage for Honor of Kings’ most ambitious esports roadmap yet.
In 2026, the competitive calendar expands with the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 (KIS4), followed by the Regional Pro Leagues Spring Season and another Nation Clash.
Midyear brings the highly anticipated Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC at EWC 2026) — a celebration of global excellence — before the year culminates with the Regional Pro Leagues Fall Season and the 2026 Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC 2026).
Each tournament represents a cornerstone of the franchise’s long-term vision: to build a unified, world-class esports ecosystem that empowers champions, celebrates diversity, and inspires the next generation of players.
A Global Legacy, A Promise Renewed
From its artistic collaborations to its competitive milestones, Honor of Kings continues to stand as a symbol of what gaming can achieve when culture and community come together.
