The collaboration brings together Honor of Kings and the Sanxingdui Museum, home to ancient relics from over 4,000 years ago in Sichuan Province, China. To bring this cultural fusion to life, acclaimed filmmaker Zhang Yimou — known for his visually breathtaking works — joins the project as Art Director, infusing the event with cinematic grandeur and deep cultural symbolism.
Players can explore two phases of in-game activities filled with exclusive hero skins, customized backgrounds, and unique event rewards inspired by the artistic beauty of Sanxingdui. The collaboration emphasizes the game’s ongoing commitment to cultural diversity and global creativity.
Sanxingdui-Themed Skins and Events
From now until October 29, players can immerse themselves in two exciting event phases filled with missions, rewards, and collectible treasures:
Phase One (October 17–23):
Complete missions in 5v5, ranked, peak, or championship matches to earn points and unlock exclusive rewards — including the Nuwa – Spiritual Awakening skin.
Phase Two (October 24–29):
Unlock more collaboration content, featuring free skins, Spriteling outfits, and collectible items inspired by ancient motifs.
Key rewards include:
- Nuwa – Spiritual Awakening (Oct 17–29): Earn points from matches and redeem the mystical skin.
- Hou Yi – Divine Tree Ascendant (Oct 25–Nov 6): Collect points for the legendary Hou Yi skin, available via pre-registration.

Celebrate in Style: Backgrounds, Minions, and Spriteling Battles
The Heavenly Arrow Background event runs from October 24–November 27, offering players the chance to win stunning divine-themed backdrops and exchange duplicate prizes for bonus points.
Players can also claim the Bronzen Braves minion skin (Oct 25–Nov 6) using a Glory Crystal — an anniversary-exclusive customization that brings a festive flair to the battlefield.
Meanwhile, the fan-favorite Spriteling Battle returns from October 17–November 12, letting players send their Spritelings into fun, strategic mini-battles against friends. Compete to win Spriteling Costumes, the Ming – Midnight Channel reward, and other limited prizes.
Creativity Takes Center Stage: Spriteling Costume Design Contest
In the spirit of innovation, Honor of Kings invites its global community to join the 2025 Spriteling Costume Design Contest, running until November 2.
Themed “Voyage,” this contest encourages players to create their own interstellar- or ocean-inspired Spriteling outfits. Top designers can win up to USD 1,500, exclusive in-game rewards, and special creator titles such as Superstar Creator, Master Creator, and Budding Creator.
Shortlisted entries will undergo community voting and expert judging throughout November, with winners revealed on December 5, 2025.
New Hero: Garuda Khageswara Arrives
A new hero joins the battlefield — Garuda Khageswara, a powerful mid-lane mage inspired by Indonesian mythology. Representing justice and courage, Garuda Khageswara can be unlocked for free between October 21–27 by earning event tokens through gameplay.
