At the heart of MCC Season 2 is the MDL PH Season 6 slot, giving student-athletes a direct path into the official development league of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB)—a massive opportunity that underscores the competition’s growing reputation as the premier collegiate-to-pro pipeline.

This year’s prize pool is split between:

  • ₱400,000 in team prizes
  • ₱100,000 in school or charity grants
  • Plus smartphones and exclusive in-game rewards

📈 Collegiate Esports on the Rise

Now in its second year, the MCC has seen explosive growth—182 schools joined Season 2, up from 148 last season. Organized under the Moonton Student Leaders (MSL) program, MCC embodies “Pamantasang Lakas” — the strength, spirit, and pride of student representation in esports.

“The MCC is more than just a tournament—it’s a movement that champions school pride and esports excellence,” said Ken Ryan Lee, MOONTON PH Game Community Lead.
“We are proud to support the next generation of MLBB pros and campus leaders across the Philippines.”

To give participants the pro experience, the Top 8 teams are flown to Manila, with all-expense-paid travel and accommodations. During the finals, players will also take part in exclusive mentorship sessions with MPL Philippines legends, including:

  • Bai Luci of USC Vamos is now an EXP Laner for RSG Philippines in MPL PH

🏫 Campus Culture Meets Esports Excellence

Beyond the games, MCC strengthens student communities with grants, campus activations, and watch parties. The Top 3 schools will also receive cash grants to fund student programs, ensuring the impact extends well beyond the tournament.

With community booths, live shoutcasting, and appearances from MPL stars, the MOA Music Hall will transform into the epicenter of collegiate esports for one thrilling weekend.
