Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena Battle Royale Cup 2026 Brings 10 Teams to Manila for $40,000 Showdown

Call of Duty

The Philippine esports scene is gearing up for another major international showdown as the Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena Battle Royale Cup (COD GBRC) 2026 heads to Manila this weekend. Featuring 10 competing teams from four markets, the inaugural regional tournament will take place on November 7–8, 2026, at the Activity Centre of Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

With a total prize pool of US$40,000, the competition will bring together seven Philippine representatives and three invited regional teams from Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan. Beyond the championship title, the tournament marks another step in expanding Garena’s competitive Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale ecosystem across the region.

Following the success of the Garena Elite Philippines 2026 Battle Royale Championship in May, this year’s Battle Royale Cup takes the competition beyond the national stage, giving Philippine teams an opportunity to test their skills against some of the region’s established contenders.

COD Battle Royale Cup 2026 Introduces a New Championship Format

The two-day Grand Finals will feature up to 12 maps, with teams competing under the tournament’s newly introduced EndGame Protocol.

The format is designed to make the final stretch of the competition more unpredictable. After the first six maps on Day 1, the Championship threshold will be determined by adding 10 points to the total score of the team in first place.

On Day 2, teams must reach this threshold to become eligible for the championship. However, reaching the required points alone will not guarantee victory. The first eligible team to win a map will immediately claim the title, bringing the tournament to a close.

This format places additional importance on consistency throughout the opening day while making every engagement and map victory on the second day potentially decisive.

Meet the 10 Teams Competing for the Inaugural Regional Title

The Grand Finals will feature seven Philippine teams that advanced through the tournament’s online qualifiers, Group Stage, and Playoffs, alongside three regional representatives.

The Philippine qualifiers began on September 8, with 20 teams initially competing for a place in the next stages. Following the Group Stage and Playoffs, the top seven secured their tickets to the Manila Grand Finals.

Philippine Representatives

POISON IVY GIZY

Entering the Grand Finals as one of the strongest Philippine contenders, POISON IVY GIZY dominated the Group Stage and Playoffs, finishing first in both competitions. The roster began taking shape in June, with VOID joining in July.

The team recorded an impressive 342 points and seven wins across 12 Group Stage rounds, making it one of the teams to watch heading into the regional championship.

ADMT PYRITE

ADMT PYRITE earned its Grand Finals qualification after navigating roster adjustments and challenges in building team chemistry. Despite the difficulties, the squad dedicated weeks to practice ahead of the qualifiers, eventually securing its place among the country’s representatives.

GNR ESPORTS LEGACY OMEN

With roots tracing back to Vagabonds Esports and Blackfyre Esports, GNR ESPORTS LEGACY OMEN has an established competitive history. Since its transition under GNR, the team has recorded nine consecutive Championship victories.

Although recent tournaments have seen the squad settle for several second-place finishes, it now has an opportunity to return to the top against regional competition.

M12 SYN MAIN

Despite being a relatively new lineup, M12 SYN MAIN has already qualified for Garena LAN competitions twice. The team will look to make an impression through patient rotations, accurate sniping, and carefully timed engagements.

LEAP MAIN

LEAP MAIN enters the competition with a refreshed five-player roster consisting of ASPECT, IVHO, KLEPT, JEYEM, and CAMO.

The new lineup aims to establish its own identity while continuing the LEAP legacy, following the previous success of LEAP UNBOUND in the Garena Elite Philippines championship.

ROYAL GEMINI JA LN

Royal Gemini secured its Grand Finals position after recovering from a challenging start in the Playoffs. The team climbed to sixth place to keep its championship hopes alive.

Combining aggressive engagements with disciplined late-game decision-making, Royal Gemini will look to carry that momentum into the regional tournament.

ADMT MAIN

One of the tournament’s comeback stories, ADMT MAIN managed to secure qualification despite falling to last place during the Playoffs.

With a roster that had only been together for approximately a month, the team overcame an early setback to earn its place among the seven Philippine finalists.

International Representatives

The Philippine teams will face three regional challengers, each bringing its own competitive history and championship experience.

REVENANT ECLIPSE (Indonesia)

Representing Indonesia, Revenant Eclipse brings together four former teammates who reunited under the organization’s banner. The team made an immediate impression by winning LMS Winter 2026, marking its first official tournament victory as an organization.

ASC (Thailand)

ASC started as a group of friends who regularly played together before taking their competitive ambitions more seriously. Through dedicated practice and tournament experience, the squad has established itself as a consistent championship contender in Thailand.

CHANGE WORLD (Taiwan)

CHANGE WORLD arrives with an impressive record of regional achievements spanning 2022 to 2026. Among its recent accomplishments is its victory at the 2026 Winter Cup S7, making the Taiwanese representative another formidable opponent for the Philippine squads.

Fans Can Enjoy Community Activities and a KOL Mini-Tournament

The COD GBRC 2026 Grand Finals will offer more than just competitive matches. Fans attending the event at Ayala Malls Manila Bay can also explore community booths, participate in fan activities, enjoy merchandise giveaways, and support their favorite teams throughout the weekend.

One of the additional highlights will take place on November 8, when 32 key opinion leaders (KOLs) compete in a special mini-tournament.

The lineup will include 12 representatives from Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan, alongside popular Philippine personalities such as Myrtle Sarossa, Sharlene San Pedro, and Izzy Canillo.

The additional competition gives fans another opportunity to see familiar personalities take part in the action while celebrating the Call of Duty: Mobile community across the region.
