Delta Force has officially entered its second year with Team Jade revealing a major roadmap for 2027, new gameplay experiences, quality-of-life improvements, competitive esports plans, and limited-time anniversary rewards.
The free-to-play tactical shooter marked its second anniversary on September 26, 2026, with a special anniversary broadcast led by Game Director Shadow. The presentation offered a look at what is next for Delta Force, covering its Operations and Warfare experiences, the newly introduced Detonation mode, Operator-focused content, social features, and the game’s expanding competitive scene.
The anniversary celebrations are already underway through Season Reorientation, while some of the biggest additions are planned for November 2026 and throughout 2027.
Delta Force Sets Its Sights on a Bigger 2027
The biggest reveal from the anniversary broadcast is Siege: Valkyrie, a new Operations map scheduled to arrive in early 2027.
Built with Unreal Engine 5 technology, Siege: Valkyrie takes players into a city caught in the middle of a siege. The map is divided by a massive city wall, creating two distinct areas with their own rules, risks, and rewards.
The inner city offers an opulent environment filled with danger, while the outer city presents a harsher struggle for survival and resources. Players will have to decide how far they are willing to push their luck during each run.
Those who want to play it safe can extract with the resources they have collected. However, players willing to take greater risks can venture deeper into the city in pursuit of significantly bigger rewards.
Siege: Valkyrie will also introduce a major change to the Operations formula. For the first time in Delta Force, players from different difficulty tiers will be able to enter the same match.
This new system is designed to create a more unpredictable and high-stakes Operations experience, with players facing different levels of risk and competition within the same battlefield.
Unreal Engine 5 Expands Across Warfare
Unreal Engine 5 is also becoming a bigger part of Delta Force’s Warfare mode.
The technology has already been introduced through The Mog, the new Warfare map arriving with Season Reorientation. The map is designed to showcase enhanced visual fidelity while supporting a new convoy escort experience inspired by Black Hawk Down.
Players can expect ground and aerial combat as they fight through the new battlefield.
The technology will continue to expand with another Warfare map planned for November 2026, followed by additional maps throughout 2027.

Delta Force Detonation Beta Is Now Underway
Another major addition to the game has already arrived.
Detonation, Delta Force’s new bomb-defusal mode, entered its global beta on September 27, 2026, at 00:00 UTC for PC and mobile players. Console support is scheduled to follow later this year.
The new mode centers on objective-based tactical combat between two opposing teams.
Attackers must break through defensive positions and successfully plant the bomb, while defenders attempt to hold their ground, prevent the plant, or defuse the objective before the round ends.
With teams fighting over important positions and searching for opportunities to turn each round around, Detonation adds a more focused competitive experience to the broader Delta Force lineup.
The beta also gives players an opportunity to provide feedback directly to the development team as Team Jade continues preparing the mode for its full release.

The second-anniversary celebration is not limited to new gameplay.
Operator Archives launches as part of the anniversary initiative, offering players a closer look at the stories and backgrounds of Delta Force’s Operators.
The first volume is available through the game’s official channels, expanding the narrative surrounding the characters players take into battle.
Team Jade is also preparing another Operator-focused feature for 2027.
Operator Quarters Arrives in Early 2027
Scheduled for early 2027, Operator Quarters will provide players with a dedicated space to customize, relax, and socialize with friends.

Delta Force’s competitive scene is also entering another important chapter.
RISE Series Season 2 is now underway, bringing teams from the EMEA and Americas regions together for another season of competitive action.
The top 12 international teams will advance to the inaugural Delta Force Invitational, which will take place at DreamHack Stockholm from November 27–29, 2026.
The event will give the leading RISE Series teams an opportunity to compete on an international stage as Delta Force continues developing its esports ecosystem.
Season Reorientation Kicks Off Delta Force’s Second Anniversary
The game’s second-anniversary celebration officially begins with Season Reorientation, which is now live.
The update introduces new content across Operations and Warfare alongside a collection of quality-of-life improvements designed to make the game easier to approach while giving experienced players new reasons to return.
Operations receives several notable improvements, including cross-region matchmaking, One-Click Loadout, and a rebuilt tutorial.
The update also introduces the G.T.I. Field Manual and Combat Support Fund, adding new systems for players to explore.
Meanwhile, Layali Grove 2.0 expands the map with additional areas, fishing, and jet ski-based gameplay.
The returning Polaris Patrol event has also been reworked, introducing a refreshed play-as-a-boss experience, new rewards, and Delta Force’s first craftable collectible.
The Mog Brings Convoy Warfare to Delta Force
Over in Warfare, The Mog introduces a new convoy escort experience inspired by Black Hawk Down.
The mode combines ground and aerial combat, giving players multiple ways to participate in large-scale battles as they fight through the new map.
The Mog also serves as the first major showcase of the game’s expanded Unreal Engine 5 technology in Warfare, setting the stage for the additional maps planned for the months ahead.
