PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most played mobile titles, has officially launched UNFAIL, its first-ever asymmetrical PvP mode. After making waves during its preview at gamescom 2025, the mode is now available worldwide, giving players a brand-new way to experience the battlegrounds beyond its iconic battle royale format.
A Deadly Hunt in Erangel’s Reimagined Mylta Power
UNFAIL drops players into a five-player match where one becomes the Predator and four take on the role of Survivors. Set in Erangel’s overgrown and abandoned Mylta Power, players are tasked with surviving tense cat-and-mouse gameplay. Survivors must activate terminals, navigate different plant zones, and ultimately escape through exit gates—all while evading the Predator.
The twist? The Predator is equipped with terrifying skills, including invisibility, pulling enemies into range, and slowing movement. Every round becomes a suspenseful duel of wit and reflexes where teamwork is the only way out.
Survival Tools and Environmental Strategy
UNFAIL emphasizes team strategy and interactive environments. Survivors can:
- Flip pallets to block paths
- Hide in distribution boxes
- Slide through electric barriers
- Use fire extinguishers to obscure the Predator’s vision
Healing berries, tactical gadgets like jet gauntlets for speed boosts, AEDs for quick rescues, and wrenches for faster repairs create new opportunities for coordination. Survivors must work together, thinking fast under pressure to stay alive.
New Gameplay Features for Maximum Intensity
To heighten immersion, PUBG MOBILE has added:
- Window vaulting and sliding mechanics for smooth movement
- Interactive objects for creative strategies
- A scoring system that tracks team and individual performance
- An ECG-style directional display that mimics a racing heartbeat during Predator chases
The result is a mode that blends tension, strategy, and high-paced action in equal measure.
Available Now
UNFAIL officially launched on September 26, 2025, and is available globally. PUBG MOBILE players can download the latest update for free via the App Store and Google Play Store to experience the new mode.
